The user recognises having read these terms and conditions of use of the website and undertakes to respect them. The ESA reserves the right to amend these legal notices. You therefore undertake to view this page regularly.

In the event where you access the www.MySpaceDream.com portal from a country other than France, you undertake to ensure respect for the legislation applicable to you locally.

The www.MySpaceDream.com portal is a website giving access to other ESA websites, that may have their own legal notices, which you must read and respect.

With the exception of these legal notices and the rules of the competition launched by the ESA through the website, the other information provided on the www.MySpaceDream.com portal is available solely for documentation purposes.

The ESA cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness or current nature of the information distributed on the website. It is provided as-is and cannot exempt the user from an additional and appropriate analysis. The ESA therefore cannot be held liable:

Requests must be accompanied by a copy of an identity document bearing the signature of the holder, and must specify the address (postal or email) to which the response must be sent. The ESA has a period of one month after receipt of the request to communicate the information requested, or to complete, amend or delete it.

Entrants have the right to file a complaint in compliance with the ESA Policy on Personal Data Protection.
The personal data collected on the Www.myspacedream.com portal will be collected and processed in compliance with the ESA Policy on Personal Data Protection. The personal data collected on the website www.MySpaceDream.com have the purpose of:
(i) enabling participation in the competition launched by the ESA through the website;
(ii) being able to communicate with entrants at any time during the period of the competition launched by the ESA through the website;
(iii) using them as part of the future promotion of space in Europe, and particularly the promotion of the Space19+ campaign, the next ESA Ministerial Council.

Entrants’ email addresses will be kept for 6 months after the end of the competition.

Entrants’ videos will be kept for 1 year in their entirety, and some of their extracts up to a maximum of 5 years after the end of the competition.

These extracts may potentially be reused for promotion of the competition, notably on the ESA social networks, during this 5-year period.
The ESA is thus authorised to communicate the following elements to the press, and to publish them on the websites www.MySpaceDream.com and www.esa.int and on its social networks: name, country and video of the entrants.

The data collected will not be sold, exchanged or rented for commercial purposes by the ESA. In the event where the user does not provide this information, the ESA will be unable to process the user’s entry in the competition.
In compliance with the abovementioned texts, you have a right of opposition, access, correction, deletion, limitation or portability over your data.
These rights can be exercised with the Data Protection Officer as indicated above.

DATABASE

The ESA is the producer and proprietor of all or some of the databases composing this website. By accessing this website, you recognise that the data composing it are legally and contractually protected. Users are prohibited from any activity not authorised by the ESA, and notably from extracting, reusing, storing, reproducing, representing or keeping, directly or indirectly, on any media, by any means and in any form, all or a qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the content of the databases present on the website you access, and from undertaking the extraction or repeated and systematic use of qualitatively or quantitatively non-substantial parts when these operations clearly exceed normal conditions of use.

Without prejudice to the applicability of the ESA Convention and the ESA Policy on Personal Data Protection, the law applicable to the ESA www.MySpaceDream.com portal is French law. Any related dispute shall be submitted for arbitration in compliance with the ESA Convention. The Parties will agree on the terms of arbitration in case of dispute. The place of arbitration shall be Paris, France.

The majority of the contents and services online on the ESA portal are offered in 5 languages (German, English, Spanish, French and Italian). In case of dispute, the French language shall prevail.
